Our client is a global leader in it's field of manufacturing and distribution. They currently seek a Senior Manager within their FP&A team, a role that will report directly to the Finance Director.  This role will provide performance analysis, ensuring strong decision-support processes and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.  It will drive results through quality analysis, financial control and evaluation of business opportunities.


  • Monitoring financial performance, and providing analysis and commentaries, including Risks and Opportunities
  • Develop financial models to support management, in particular business models for material revenue streams, and provide analysis, insight and modelling to aid decision making regarding the correct footprint and sales channels in Distribution
  • Develop Product Profitability reporting across the Division, with the development of reports to be rolled out to the regions to enhance understanding of the key drivers of the business
  • Preparation of monthly Board Reporting, including detailed analysis required to understand and challenge the key drivers of variances between monthly actual and latest forecast/budget and prior year for all elements of P&L, Balance Sheet & Cashflow
  • Support the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes, assisting with narrative and sensitivity analysis to evaluate plans and scenario planning
  • Develop Pipeline reporting to provides insightful information
  • Preparation of ad-hoc analysis, interpretation and reporting for Business Partners
  • Ad hoc financial analysis / modelling for Group strategic initiatives
  • Reporting and variance analysis of key Working Capital Metrics by region
  • Develop Working Capital KPI’s and ensure consistency of reporting throughout the business
  • Working with the regions to track benefits of working capital reduction plans


  • Must be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent) with a strong financial accounting background and have a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience.
  • Previous experience within a senior financial analysis role
  • Strong interpersonal skills; motivated to deliver a responsive, proactive service, and meet challenging deadlines.
  • Strong financial modelling skills, including use of pivot tables and manipulation of significant data.
  • Strong presentation skills and superior knowledge of Microsoft Powerpoint
  • Superior communication skills, with experience working in multi-functional teams.
  • Experience of a multi-currency reporting environment
