We are working with a Big 4 practice based in Belfast, that is looking for a Senior Manager to join its Shared Services Centre. Based in Belfast City Centre, you would be the Global Contracts Relationship Manager ensuring excellent client service, that all contractual obligations are met, and leading and growing a team around you.


  • You will be working on a varied and global portfolio of client engagements – ranging in size and complexity. The clients will be household names and you will be leading an innovative team, ensuring a high-quality delivery of compliance and coordination services.
  • Managing your global team, focusing on meeting contractual obligations, making sure we are compliant, and resolving client issues which are escalated to you (with the support of your wider teams where required). Proactively managing service delivery risk, your role as the owner of these engagements is to be the strategic lead driving excellent client service.
  • Provide innovative solutions and market insights to client business issues. Provide guidance and support to peers, colleagues and clients on contractual issues, whilst managing complex local fee and scope negotiations. Your focus will be on driving revenue on your engagements, bringing innovation and best practice to the client to support you with this.
  • Drive the agenda internally, making sure your team are clear on what their focus should be, you will be a point of escalation for your team when they cannot resolve complex issues, and you will own the client relationship. 
  • You will manage a geographical region and create a strong relationship with the lead in country, assisting them in key proposals You will also drive business development within your engagement and the wider team.
  • As part of Senior management you will lead the coaching and development of more junior members of your team, and also be involved in career guidance for the wider team.


  • Strong client relationship management experience
  • Degree level qualification or equivalent preferred but not essential
  • Proven work record in a similar environment
  • Team management experience essential
  • Proven track record of building a teams
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbally
  • Excellent MS Excel and word capability
  • This role does not specifically require tax or accounting qualifications or experience, but previous experience in these areas would be extremely beneficial and local qualifications in these fields would be welcome.
