Our UK leading client is currently looking to expand their growing finance team – this role is a fantastic opportunity to join a team of multi-disciplined professionals. Within this role you will assist in the preparation and maintenance of client accounts, process purchase ledger invoices along with bank reconciliations and other ad-hoc financial tasks.
Responsibilities
Processing accounting records, encompassing the cash book, purchase ledger, sales ledger, and nominal ledger.
Compilation of bank reconciliations.
Arranging bank payments, transfers, and the banking of client receipts.
Communication with 3rd parties on behalf of clients.
Assisting with administrative tasks within the team.
Generation of accurate accounting records and completion of assigned tasks with meticulous attention to detail and quality.
Systematic and methodical approach to ensure all assignments are complete within assigned timeframes.
Understands and follows instructions (keen attention to detail).
Consistently delivering high-quality service to all clients.
Competence in working independently with minimal supervision.
Desirable Criteria;
Self-driven and organized. Able to plan own time ensuring deadlines are met.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal proficiency with the ability to communicate at all levels.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
A foundational grasp of accounting principles and systems, while not mandatory, is advantageous.
Excellent attention to detail.
Initiative-driven approach to task completion and an inclination to suggest process improvements.
Able to work within a team in achieving common goals.
Awareness of client requirements and expectations, coupled with a prompt and clear professional approach to issue resolution.
GCSE English and Maths or equivalent qualifications.
