Our client is a leading All-Ireland business that is currently looking to hire a Finance Business Analyst for its Belfast team. The role would work in the finance team and focus in the processes and performance of the Accounts Receivable function. Duties would be as follows:
Responsibilities:
Evaluate all Accounts Receivable business processes, uncovering areas for improvement, presenting findings and recommendations in a variety of formats to stakeholders.
Communicate with various stakeholders to implement approved solutions.
Formally document new processes as well as update existing
Represent the Accounts Receivable team in ongoing projects
Ownership of month end reporting, including payment reconciliations and cashflow reporting.
Providing cover for BAU team duties for annual leave, sickness, and peak busy periods
Applicants must have the following:
Previous experience of working with modelling tools, managing large data sets, and analysing large volumes of data to identify anomalies and trends.
Excellent numeric and analytic skills with the ability to present findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
Proficient in the use of Excel.
Strong problem-solving skills with emphasis on attention to detail.
It would also be preferred if applicants have the following:
Obtained a minimum of a second-class degree, upper division (2:1), or equivalent, in a discipline
with a high level of numerical or financial content.
Working knowledge of Qlikview.
Previous experience using SAP.
