Our UK leading client is currently looking to expand their growing finance team – this role is a fantastic opportunity to join a team of multi-disciplined professionals. Within this role you will assist in the completion of a range of Finance activities providing excellent service to clients. Responsibilities;
- Handling accounting records, which encompass the cash book, purchase ledger, sales ledger, and nominal ledger.
- Creating bank reconciliations and overseeing the preparation process.
- Coordinating bank payments, transfers, and the handling of client receipts.
- Engaging with external entities on behalf of clients, such as insurance companies and banks.
- Offering administrative support to the team.
- Generating precise accounting records and completing assigned tasks with a keen focus on attention to detail and quality, demonstrating effective self-management.
- Approaching tasks in an organized and methodical manner to ensure timely completion of all responsibilities, emphasizing self-management and goal/results orientation.
- Adhering to instructions with meticulous attention to detail and quality.
- Meeting client and statutory deadlines as key performance indicators.
- Delivering a high-quality service to all clients.
- Capable of working with minimal supervision.
Role Requirements
- A solid educational background with GSCE-level proficiency in English and Maths or an equivalent qualification.
- Driven to deliver the utmost quality service to clients.
- Inherently self-motivated and well-organized, capable of effectively planning and managing time to meet targets and deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with individuals at various levels.
- Essential proficiency in Excel and a working knowledge of accounting principles, though not mandatory, would be beneficial.
- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail.
- Takes initiative to accomplish tasks and proactively proposes improvements to processes.
