The Role:

We have partnered with one of the UK and Ireland’s leading provider of health and residential care to hire for the role of hybrid management accountant. The overall responsibilities of this role will include the preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts, preparation of budgets and the provision of costing and financial information and advice to divisional Directors.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Compile and analyse monthly financial reports, including a comprehensive management accounts pack for review by Senior Management and the Finance Committee.

  • Create departmental budgets and forecasts, encompassing income & expenditure accounts, capital projects, and cash flow needs.

  • Generate costing schedules and other financial data to be included in tender documents.

  • Produce reports for funders to communicate financial information effectively.

  • Prepare reports on capital expenditure and fixed assets.

  • Collaborate in the preparation of annual statutory accounts.

  • Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of robust internal controls, conducting internal audits as necessary.

  • Undertake ad hoc financial analysis and generate reports as requested.

  • Support in the training of finance staff and provide finance-related training for non-financial managers.

  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ICA, ACCA, CIPFA)

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a busy accounts environment

  • Attend the office 2 days a week.
