Our client is currently looking to expand their growing finance team – this role is a fantastic opportunity to join a team of multi-disciplined professionals combining experience across employment tax, employment legal, payroll and global mobility. Within the role you will ensure accurate and timely payroll production for a number of clients adapting as and when necessary to new client requirements.

 

Main Responsibilities

-          Managing end-to-end production of accurate and timely payroll for various clients, adhering to statutory regulations and meeting payroll deadlines and requirements.

-          Collaborating with the team to deliver excellent service to multiple clients.

-          Overseeing payroll deadlines and requirements for a personal portfolio of payroll clients.

-          Staying up to date with statutory and legislative regulations by participating in in-house training courses.

-          Handling the import/export of new employee and timesheet data onto the payroll platform, which includes managing starters, leavers, absences, work plans, variations, adjustments, salary changes, benefit and allowance changes, different contract types, Child Care Voucher schemes, and pension deductions.

-          Processing statutory payments.

-          Generating payroll reports, P45s, and other documents using both in-house systems and Microsoft Excel.

-          Submitting reports to HMRC via RTI (Real-Time Information) system.

-          Managing client billing.

-          Keeping procedures and key control documents up to date for audit purposes.

Essential Criteria

-          Strong attention to detail.

-          Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal with individuals at all levels

-          Good organisation and prioritisation skills, ensuring stringent deadlines are met.

-          Flexibility, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities.

-          Previous experience of end-to-end payroll production.
