Our client is looking for an experienced Payroll candidate to join their growing team as a Payroll Implementations Senior Associate – within the role you will report to the payroll manager with the responsibility of delivery of payroll services ensuring the accurate execution of payrolls, reporting on internal metrics, and managing stakeholder engagements. Moreover the ideal candidate will be someone who has strong time management skills, managing and processing client payroll portfolios implementing best practice initiatives to ensure the highest quality/ accuracy within your work along with also assisting more junior team members with payroll processing queries.
Key Responsibilities
Timely and accurate payroll processing each pay period.
Integrating pay information into payroll software.
Full payroll reporting, including bespoke financial reports like general ledger reports
Performing KPI and management reports on the payroll procedure.
Review all emails and client deliverables that have been compiled by Associates before sending to the client.
Complete a thorough review of payrolls that have been processed by Associates to ensure 100% accuracy.
Offering clients and junior associates with subject-matter guidance and assistance.
Ensuring that all payroll controls are followed and that any payroll-related problems are found and fixed.
Monitoring engagements to make sure that time is accurately recorded, tracking changes in margin along with tracking revenue.
Delivering reports on engagement financials to Payroll Leadership.
Be a proactive coach and knowledge-sharer for our Associates to help them advance
Ensure that all your work is covered when going on periods of annual leave. All necessary handovers should be made prior to leaving for annual leave.
Essential Skills
5 years of end-to-end payroll processing experience and knowledge
Experience with Iris payroll software
Payroll Qualification (i.e. CIPP)
