Our client is a leading consulting firm based in Dublin, Ireland. They are currently looking for a number of experienced professionals to work as Life Sciences project managers at Consultant, Senior Consultant, Assistant Manager and Manager level. These are challenging and fulfilling opportunities with the potential to develop your range of skills significantly. Applicants of particular interest are ones with experience in the pharmaceutical or the medical device industry. Moreover, particular skillsets regarding technical business analysis / project management expertise are extremely favourable.


  • Work as part of multi-disciplinary teams to deliver and manage projects in the following areas:

  • defining and driving projects across all stages of the project life cycle;

  • management of multi-disciplined teams across various business units and functions;

  • acting as a liaison between multi-faceted project teams;

  • developing project plans, roles and responsibilities and communications plans;

  • engaging project stakeholders regardless of discipline in order to effectively drive projects;

  • facilitating workshops to gather and define project scopes and business requirements including documentation of same and subsequent dissemination to relevant parties; and

  • identifying and implementing process improvements and solutions.

Required Attributes

  • proven track record managing multi-disciplined teams and end-to-end projects in challenging environments;

  • proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements and dealing with multiple business/technical units;

  • prior consulting experience in a professional services or industrial environment with significant project management experience;

  • appropriate project management (PRINCE2, PMP, etc.), business or financial qualification with strong academic record;

  • strong Microsoft Project skills, along with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, MS Project) skills;

  • 2 - 7 years' experience minimum depending on level applied for is required;

  • 2+ years’ experience in the med tech or pharmaceutical industry, across clinical development, regulatory, quality, manufacturing or supply chain;

  • strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to professional and client service excellence. The ability to develop good working relationships is critical; and

  • ability to effectively balance a number of tasks, work to deadlines, and produce quality deliverables.
