We are working with a global business that seeks a Project Manager PMO for its Belfast office, with a UK wide focus.

This business area is made up of three key areas - Supply Chain and Operations, Change Managed Capacity and Change Managed Services. They provide hands-on delivery capability, backed-up by tried and tested technology, methodologies and infrastructure to assist clients with their projects and programmes using a model that is cost effective and scalable.

Role and Key Responsibilities

  • You will have significant experience of successfully managing a range of complex, high value, transformation projects and programmes from project start up through to project closure.

  • Developing robust and trusting relationships across all lines of service and our external stakeholders.

  • Creating best practice; up to date PMO Services collateral and case studies to support growth.

  • Utilising appropriate and repeatable technology solutions to support high quality, efficient outcomes.

  • Delivering through standard PM methodologies and processes (e.g. for planning, reporting) and help drive adoption throughout the organisation.

  • You will have provided management and strategic direction and share responsibility for the programme delivery. Champion of quality and managing risk exposure across multiple projects through the identification and management of key project risks to ensure the delivery of business goals.

  • Supported projects to set up clear business / scope requirements, and ensure delivery of these, communicating progress through the agreed reporting routes and managing changes through the agreed, fit for purpose governance processes.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Strong communicator and influencer who is great at connecting the dots at the organisation, strategy, program, and project levels.

  • Advanced knowledge of programme and project management and worked in a PMO/Project Management and/or Management Consulting role.

  • Able to engage not just on the how, but also the why, demonstrating your experience designing and strategic planning.

  • Project team leadership with the ability to mobilise, inspire, and lead your team.

  • Demonstrate that you have business and commercial acumen and the ability to build an understanding of the business, to build and shape delivery plans.

You will be a strong planner, influencer and have a proven track record in project management and delivery. You will bring high energy, thrive on building relationships and continually seek to improve the service offered to clients.
