We are working with a leading strategy consultancy in Dublin that is looking for a Senior Consultant/Manager to join it’s growing All-Ireland team.The practice focuses on providing strategic and financial advice to clients on raising capital, helping with decisions on where to invest, uncovering new opportunities, and providing rigorous M&A support pre, during and post deal.

The responsibilities for the position will include working on the following:

  • Build up new client relationships, or utilise your network to leverage current relationships, in order to develop new business;

  • Work towards set sales targets within the Strategy Group;

  • Storyboard, steer and quality review client work;

  • Motivate, coach and develop project team members;

  • Provide constructive upwards feedback

For specific engagements:

  • Target identification and evaluation

  • M&A (buy-side, sell-side) due diligence and synergy cases

  • JV and partnership strategy

  • Refinancing and restructuring

  • Exit strategies, divestments and carve-outs

  • IPO support

  • Integration/separation planning and execution

Applicants for this position must have the following:

  • Experience working in a consulting firm with a background in either Strategy or M&A

  • High levels of commerciality with demonstrated success building up and maintaining successful client relationships;

  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience;

  • Experience in a Consultancy focused environment

  • An analytical mind-set, strong numerical ability, intellectual curiosity, structured thinking, and creativity;

  • Confidence, people skills, ambition and pragmatism;

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;

  • Strong research, PPT and Excel skills;

  • Evidence of a degree from a leading institution, minimum 2.1
