We are working with one of the world’s largest professional firms, and they are currently looking to add to their business consulting team. They are looking to hire experienced candidates for a number of roles. They have Consultant and Senior Consultant roles open to Business Intelligence Analysts. Furthermore, the client is looking for a Business Intelligence Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will join the Business Consulting team and work with some of the most recognisable organisations worldwide in delivering large scale operational programmes.

NOTE: You must possess an Irish/British/EU Passport or a Stamp 4 VISA to be considered for this role.

Main Responsibilities

  • Recognise and assess possible data sources, while directing a variety of business departments in how to appropriately and effectively use data.

  • Using Microsoft Power BI, designing effective BI data models. In addition, publishing, managing and monitoring published reports via these platforms.

  • Collecting requirements for analytical reports, using analytical techniques to identify patterns and execute analyses to address client issues and problems.

  • Experience directing quantitative and qualitative analysis with visualisation and analytics techniques to solve business problems, translating the newest technologies & techniques into projects.

Your Experience

  • A Bachelor or Master’s Degree in a quantitative field.

  • Have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Advantageous to have Prince2®, PMP or equivalent qualifications.

  • Desirable to have Power BI experience, and proven experience in BI platforms and analytics i.e. Tableau, SAP etc.

  • Previous experience extracting, transforming and loading datasets (ETL)

  • Working with non-technical colleagues and ability to explain technical processes to a non-technical audience.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Previous experience engaging project stakeholders and an ability to work to a high standard in challenging environments.

  • Understanding of project management methodologies and techniques.

  • It would be of interest to have experience in the industries; energy/utilities, life sciences and healthcare.

(Additional experience required for Manager position – 5+ yrs of relevant experience and min. 2 yrs experience with Microsoft Power BI development)
