Finance Senior Manager

About the Job

We are working with a leading professional services company in Dublin that currently seeks a strong Senior Finance Manager to work in a busy finance department, reporting to the CFO.

Working within an experienced team, the person will assist the CFO in providing financial management and support to the business. The person will also work with the Group finance team to provide recurring reporting, ad hoc analysis and implement various initiatives.

​

Applicants should have an Irish/EU or British passport, or hold a Stamp 4 visa.

Key responsibilities

• Review, implementation and improvement of processes and controls necessary to the smooth operation of a large professional services firm

• Work closely with the management team to provide insights and analysis to complement the monthly management accounts and recurring forecasts

• Assist in managing the finance team through operating balance sheet controls and coaching and mentoring of team members

• Compliance with CRO and other regulatory bodies

• Delivery of ad hoc projects as required, for example in areas of process automation and amendment of business structures

Ideal candidate

• Qualified accountant with 5-10 years’ PQE working in a finance department

• Meticulous attention to detail

• Ability to work effectively to deadlines, understanding what to prioritise and how to delegate effectively to fully utilise the finance team capability

• Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and oral

• Ability to slot into an established team and demonstrate added value to the team
