Our client is currently looking to recruit an experienced IT Senior Consultant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with client delivery to deliver technology projects, business development, experience with client presentations and proposals for projects, practice development, experience working to build-out capabilities through tech and consulting leadership. In addition, you will draw on previous experience and skills to raise the profile of the company through innovation and developing solutions to improve operations and performance.

Main Responsibilities

  • Carry out process mapping and identify areas for process improvement.

  • Develop As-Is, To-Be and Gap Analysis documentation.

  • Lead user requirements workshops and develop and document the requirements, providing challenge to the users to ensure the requirements meet desired business outcomes.

  • Develop and document functional and technical specifications and solution design documents.

  • Design and execute test plans for ERP systems and bespoke software developments.

  • Deploy or manage the deployment of custom and standard software products.

  • Conduct go-live cutovers.

  • Develop end user training materials and deliver training.

  • Contribute to IT strategy and operating model assignments.

Your Experience

  • Experience with hands-on delivery with projects and a personal track record of delivering effective and impressive results.

  • Experience supporting business development activities, client relationship management and contributing to winning proposal development within the technical sector.

  • Previous experience in two or more of the following areas:

    • Previous knowledge of:

      • Agile & DevSecOps methodologies.

      • Data technologies and Cloud computing technologies, business drivers, emerging computing trends, and deployment options.

      • Emerging Technology AI, RPA, IoT, Blockchain.

    • Experienced in the development of written documents for executive and leadership levels within an organisation.

    • ITIL processes.

    • IT service delivery.

    • Auditing IT general controls i.e. Technical Controls, Access Management etc.

    • Experience with assessment of IT systems across various platforms i.e. Windows, Oracle, SAP etc.

Essential Criteria

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and/or work experience.

  • ITIL certification (mandatory)

  • Working knowledge or training in IT standards, frameworks, and best practices. (e.g ISO27001, COBIT).

  • 3+ years direct work experience in a technical business analysis capacity.
